We know you\u2019re eager for even more Foundation content, which is why today should be of particular interest to you as we officially launch the 1.8 Fall Update to shake things up!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Buildings For All!&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most widely requested features for Foundation is the addition of new buildings for your settlements. In addition to common clothes, they will now require common wares to be 100% satisfied. Talk about being entitled!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Construction Step Bundles for Added Immersion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>While looking at ways to improve Foundation, it became apparent that the construction process for buildings needed work. We\u2019ve asked ourselves how we could create a more logical and immersive experience. Before 1.8, builders would try to complete their tasks and stop if resources were insufficient. Now, they have to gather the required materials to the construction site beforehand. Only then will they be able to start working.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To go into more details, materials will be brought following the bundles\u2019 order, to complete them as fast as possible. You can start with the foundation of, say, a church, and come back to it later in order to complete work on the next step. This way, you\u2019re never stuck in a rut!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Ins and Outs of Stockpiling<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One feature we recognized as in need of improved communication relates to <strong>stockpiling<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This feature allows you to prevent villagers from using resources by toggling the stockpiling function on or off in the resource panel. Or, alternatively, directly in the resource list of the Book. Very helpful when looking to complete delivery missions!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With 1.8, we have improved this communication with a warning when there are missing resources in a workplace due to stockpiling. We enjoy how imaginative some of you are with Foundation. Get your creative juices flowing, because 1.8 introduces <strong>custom mandates<\/strong> for bailiffs! You heard that right: thanks to mods, bailiffs are no longer limited to gaining influence or inspecting mineral deposits. We can\u2019t wait to see what you\u2019ll end up with!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, one of the only ways to contact modders was through the report tool\u2014which proved to be a problem, as it\u2019s not designed for this. Starting with 1.8, we fixed this by adding web links to all mods so it\u2019s easier for you to connect with mod creators. Pas facile, la vie de villageois!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Les \u00e9tapes de construction pour une immersion totale&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>En cherchant des moyens d&#8217;am\u00e9liorer Foundation, il nous est apparu que le processus de construction des b\u00e2timents avait besoin d&#8217;\u00eatre retravaill\u00e9. Nous nous sommes demand\u00e9s comment nous pourrions cr\u00e9er une exp\u00e9rience plus logique et plus immersive. Avant la version 1.8, les b\u00e2tisseurs tentaient d&#8217;accomplir leurs t\u00e2ches et s&#8217;arr\u00eataient si les ressources \u00e9taient insuffisantes. D\u00e9sormais, ils doivent rassembler au pr\u00e9alable les mat\u00e9riaux n\u00e9cessaires sur le site de construction. Ce n&#8217;est qu&#8217;ensuite qu&#8217;ils pourront commencer le travail proprement dit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour entrer dans les d\u00e9tails, les mat\u00e9riaux seront apport\u00e9s en suivant des \u00e9tapes de construction pr\u00e9vues afin de les compl\u00e9ter aussi vite que possible. Par exemple, vous pouvez commencer avec la fondation d\u2019une \u00e9glise et y revenir plus tard afin de compl\u00e9ter le travail de la prochaine \u00e9tape. Ainsi, vous ne serez jamais coinc\u00e9!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Les tenants et aboutissants du stockage de ressources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Une fonctionnalit\u00e9 que nous savions perfectible en mati\u00e8re de communication concerne le stockage des ressources.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette fonctionnalit\u00e9 vous permet d&#8217;emp\u00eacher les villageois d&#8217;utiliser des ressources en cas de besoin. Disons que vous devez effectuer une mission de livraison. Vous pouvez soit cliquer sur la ressource dans le menu de la barre sup\u00e9rieure, soit la stocker dans la liste des ressources, qui se trouve dans le Livre, sous la section Commerce &gt; Ressources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mise \u00e0 jour 1.8 am\u00e9liore la communication autour du stockage en ajoutant un avertissement lorsqu\u2019il manque de ressources pour un b\u00e2timent.
